Malaria-free and genuinely family-ready, a short hop from Johannesburg. Wild dog, black rhino and the long amber light of the Kalahari edge.
All three are sold all-inclusive: lodging, meals, house drinks and twice-daily game drives. Costed against your own dates on enquiry.

When is the best time to go on safari in South Africa?
May to October is the dry season and gives the strongest game viewing across the Sabi Sand, Greater Kruger and Madikwe — thinner bush, animals concentrated on water, cool mornings and almost no rain. November to April brings green landscapes, newborn animals, migrant birds and dramatic skies at lower rates. We match your dates to the reserve that performs best in them rather than selling you one reserve all year.
What is included, and what sits outside it?
Lodging, all meals, house drinks, twice-daily game drives with a guide and tracker, reserve and conservation fees, internal flights and every road transfer are inside the itinerary. International flights, travel insurance, premium cellars and spa treatments sit outside it. You see the full breakdown in writing before you commit to anything.
Is a South African safari safe for children?
Yes, with the right reserve. Madikwe is malaria-free and most of its lodges take children from six, several from any age with a private vehicle and guide. We place families deliberately rather than hoping it works out.
How many nights should I spend on safari?
Three nights is the minimum that gives you six game drives and a genuine chance at all of the Big Five. Four is better. Beyond five nights in one reserve, we usually suggest moving to a second, contrasting camp.
Do you book internal flights, transfers and lodges as well?
Yes — internal flights, road transfers, private guiding, lodges and activities are all arranged and invoiced as one itinerary. You book your own international flights, or we advise on routing.
